July 6, 1951—"The Cradle," Southwestern Jewish Press, page 3: Grandpa Max Brody knew all the answers when the Jewish Press called for information about his new grandson. Gordon Louis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Gerson, was born at Mercy Hospital on June 21st. He weighted 8 lbs., 11 oz. Maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Max Brody, of San Diego, and greatgrandmother Sarah Brody, of New York.  {A comment from Gordon Gerson, January 20, 2006: My tech people brought that {item above}  to my attention a few weeks ago, which literally knocked the wind out of me. What the blurb does not say, however, is that my life long close friend Charles Wax and I were both born on the same day, and our mothers shared the same room at Mercy Hospital on that fateful day.[and at his 50^th birthday party, Brian Seltzer in a toast, advised as Waxie counsel, that Charles’s parents had taken the wrong baby home from the hospital}
