November 2005—"Congregation Beth Israel Dor l'Dor Society & Leave a Jewish Legacy Program," Tidings (monthly newsletter of Congregation Beth Israel), page 2:  {LM=LIfe Member; *=Deceased] Our heritage has been carefully and lovingly preserved b those who came before us. We are the inheritors of a proud past and a now it is our turn to help secure the future. We have formed the Dor l'Dor Society (Generation to Generation) to honor those who have either made an outright endowment gift to the congregation, become life members or have told us they have included the synagogue in their estate plan. These gifts help build our Endowment Fund and ensure that our synagogue remains a cornerstone of Jewish life in San Diego and the nation. A gift in your will involves little sacrifice in the present, but guarantees our Jewish future. Our legacy, indeed our responsibility, is to follow in the footsteps of our predecessors, keeping our synagogue vibrant for our children and grandchildren.  With gratitude, we acknowledge and thank the following members of the Dor l'Dor Society:  Leslie Belden, Julie and Edgar Berner, Deanne and Leonord Bloom (LM); Lillie* and Robert Breitbard (LM); Betty and Donald G.
