Honored by Joe Naiman, San Diego, February 25, 2007

Earl Altshuler was an all-CIF baseball player at Crawford High School, San Diego, from which he graduated in 1968 after spending all three years on the varsity.  He then played at UCLA and set several batting records, many of which still stand for the wood bat era.  Although Earl never played professional baseball, he throws batting practice for the San Diego Padres—Joe Naiman, February 25, 2007
